Here in the Midwest the land is flat and the only trees are along riverbeds or those that have been planted by man.

I was born in 1948  in Gowrie, Webster County, Iowa.  I am now married and live in Omaha, Nebraska.

I'm proud of the Dowling name and used it for many years as my stage name when I acted on Omaha area stages.
My father is Charles Vernon Dowling.  Most of his forefathers were farmers in north-central part of Iowa.
My grandfather, Frank Grover Dowling, was one of five brothers now deceased, the others being Otto, James , Mark and Percy.
