I am Pamela Dowling and I am Scottish."

 

I was born in 1954 in Ratho near Edinburgh, the beautiful capital of Scotland.

I am the eldest of four.
My late father was Harold Dowling of H Dowling Haulage and he was one of six brothers and two sisters.  His father was Francis Henry, from Bristol, and was also one of six brothers and two sisters!

Francis Henry Dowling died on
 HMS Kandahar in December 1941 
My interests at the moment include finding out more about Dowlings.
