I was born in 1953 in Johanessburg, Guateng, South Africa.

I am the father of Alex Dowling 

My father is Ivan Dowling who lives in the Eastern Province.  My grandfather owned East London Zoo which, again, is in the Eastern Province.
My brother , cousin-in-law and I are planning to start a national park in the Eastern province in South Africa.
