Postcard 18: School House in Dowling, Michigan, USA Students in a one room school house. The chalk board held by the girls says, "Barry ?? School, District No.7 Baltimore". Dowling is in Barry County in Michigan but we cannot work out the reference to Baltimore. The postmark is Dowling MI 1908 and the card is addressed to Dowling MI. The message on the back is evidently from the teacher pictured and says, "Here is me and part of my family". |
