My maternal grandfather. My mother stated he was originally from Dublin. He was working as a Cattleman in Banffshire, Scotland, in 1917. Not certain of his age. Fathered at least one child with a 25 year old local girl. Cannot find a death in Scotland. Dead prior to 1946. |

Janet died 22 April 1867 aged 51 in Dingwall, Scotland. Reg 062 /00 0020 Unable to locate a death for Forbes between 1851 & 1861. Last child, Forbes born 1852. Janet described as Ploughmans widow in 1861 census. Unable to go back any further as I dont have parents names etc. Hope that someone can help? |
