Born September 10 1942, 5ft 7ins, 11st 10lb.  Good hands, speed, anticipation, and elusive pair of feet in the game.  That's Barry Dowling.  A brilliant little ? Barry was forced to play centre outside ? star John Gleeson.  But when John retired "Tubby" was quick to come back to his rightful position.  He has represented Queensland at least six times as a ? or centre and is unlucky not to have made am Australian side.  Barry is a constant headache to his opponents.  Give him an inch and he'll take a mile.  He's a dangerous player who needs matching 100% of the time.
