Shortstop for the Philadelphia Nationals,
has to his credit in records of 1908, 1909 and 1910 the imposing
total of 904 put outs and 1403 assists. By his field average
for 1910 he headed shortstops in the National League. When he
hits his speciality is two-baggers of which he made thirty-one in in
1910, and on August 5 of that year he hammered out three
three-baggers un three times at bat.
