officers and men of the 4th Battalion Leinster Regiment
(Royal Queen's County Regiment) who gave their lives in the

This war memorial originally
built 1928 at Bank Place Portlaoise was re-located at Millview
Memorial Park by Comhairle Chontae Laoise. Officially
unveiled by Martin Rohan, M.C.C. Cathaoirleach Laois County
Council in the presence of Tom Jacob, T.C. Cathaoirleach
