There were 50,700 recipients of Medals including military personnel and civilians.

  • List 'A' was found on an excellent page by Cathy Day on web site: http://www.ozemail.com.au/~clday/ .  She states these names are taken from the Indian Mutiny Medal Roll (British Forces) 1857 - 1859 by Kevin Asplin.

  • List 'B' was found in the British Library Ref. OIR 355/134 Indian Mutiny Medal Roll 1857-1859 British Forces 1998 compiled by K J Asplin. 1998.  (Transcribed by Brian Dowling - Webmaster)
