Indian Medal Roll (British Forces) 1824 - 1826


The soldiers listed below received medals for a British Army campaign in Ava between 1824 and 1826. 

Ava is a city in central Burma but also refers to the general area of Upper Burma.  However, this relatively peaceful land was not annexed into the British Empire until 1886.
