1656 - Forfeiting Proprietors in Ireland (under Cromwellian Settlement)


"Forfeiting Proprietors, Listed: various counties." Commencing AD 1657. The land in question was "forfeited to the Commonwealth by the late horrid rebellion". The list was prepared by Christopher Gough in Dublin on 27 January 1656 and sent to the Lord Protectors Council for the affairs of Ireland.
