Constance Dowling born in 1920 and
died in 1969. She was the dazzling blonde adored by Danny
Kaye in Goldwyn's "Up In Arms" (1944), and by Nelson
Eddy in UA's "Knickerbocker Holiday" (1943). The
dazzling Broadway showgirl was also once adored by Sam Goldwyn
until Virginia Mayo came along.
Sam Goldwyn's plans to make her a
big star took a nose dive when he became interested in promoting
the career of Virginia Mayo.
