Biographical Information - 1 September 1998
I live, with my family, in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. I am interested in a number of things, apart from genealogy, including electronic music composition and listening to music generally as well as computing. I'm in full time employment so much of the genealogy and other stuff is waiting for free time and I have numerous projects on the go. I am a member of the Irish Genealogical Research Society (IGRS) based at the Irish Club, 82 Eaton Square, London SW1W 9AJ, UK. and the Irish Family History Society (IFHS).

At the moment I am engaged in the following projects:

• transcribing civil records of Dowlings and similar onto my database;
• transcribing parish records of Dowlings and similar
  currently Aghaboe parish.
• Monitoring GenForum and some Irish Bulletin Lists noting all Dowling and similar names into a Family Tree Maker File.
